Less than a month until the return of the Bridge of Allan (BofA) Contemporary Arts Festival. It promises to be even bigger and better this year and I'm really looking forward to it! This year I am exhibiting my prints in the upstairs room of the Westerton Arms Hotel in Bridge of Allan as part of Forth Valley Open Studios. There will also be some fabulous photographs by Allan Donaldson and beautiful paintings by David Tapner on display! Look forward to seeing you there..

On Saturday 5th November 2011 there is to be a Contemporary Arts and Crafts Festival to be held in the beautiful Spa Town of Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire, between 10am and 4pm. It will be a non-profit making event organised by the Bridge of Allan Community Events Group (supported by the Community Council). It will be an opportunity for local artists and crafts people to showcase their art and sell directly to the public. There are 75 individual tables available for rent within two desirable central locations. This group show of local artists kicked off to a busy start today despite the gloomy weather! There is a wide variety of artwork on display including jewellery and a video installation by Ann Shaw (in the pulpit). The "Matriarch" deals with three generations of women's hands and adds overall to the atmospheric experience of visiting St Saviours Church. The show is on all week till Saturday 18th from 10am-5pm Tues, Wed & Sat, open till 7pm today, Wed and Friday.
MMDesign was founded by Maureen Mitchell in 2009 and has been building up a clientele from websites and various trade events.
